Week 44 just finished and I have sold the most I have ever sold since starting to sell with intent on eBay 5 weeks ago.
How Much I Made
I made $182.95 in sales, which led to $75.95 in after-tax profit (this is after fees, shipping costs, and 25% for tax all deducted).
This isn’t quit-your-job sort of money. but it’s not bad for someone who is just doing this part-time and mostly for fun and some additional spending money.
My Modest Goal
To be honest, I do have a goal of earning $1500 profit per month with re-selling on eBay, but I am not really thinking I will get that high, but you never know.
Even half of that amount would be cool.

What I Sold
To gain the figures above, I sold 13 items – all DVDs and CDs (plus a PC game), which are easy to list and pack.
These items don’t generally make all that much money individually, but they do add up.
Recommendation
I definitely recommend selling small, easily handled, items like DVDs and CDs as they are good sellers and they are super easy to list and ship.
I mainly list them, not so much for the profit I make on them (which averaged about $4.32 this week), but to keep letting eBay know I’m a regular and active seller.
My Posting Schedule
I post a minimum of 5 items per day, which is usually a combo of DVDs/CDs and larger items (which are worth more profit). On my “life-busy” days I tend to just list 5 DVDs and be done with it.
