In this post I want to look at some stats that eBay has in the Seller Hub.
I want to look at some graphs to show how being active on the platform really does increase your sales.
Being Active
You can be active a number of ways on eBay. By responding to messages, to offering discounts, promoting your items, and by listing the stuff you have to sell.
A really easy way to be active on eBay – especially if you are just starting out – is by listing every day.
I list five items each and every day.FOr me, this is manageable with the amount of time I have to devote to this hobby and also the amount of inventory I have.
If you cannot manage this, then even listing two items each day consistently is, in my experience, better than listing 20 items once per month.
I am happy to be proved wrong on this – let me know if I am in the comments below.
The Graphs
I want to show you three graphs from the eBay Seller Hub that shows how being active each day has really lifted my sales.
The first one is Impression.
Impressions
That is, the number of time my listing has been seen in search results.

As you can see, my impression really started taking off around the start of October, 2025 and grew over that month – exactly when I started listing each day.
Yes, I started using promoted listings, but even organic listings grew over time.
(Keep in mind, The November 2 column is only a part-day number.)
This is proof to me that being active on the platform each and every day drives a greater number of impressions.
But what about Sales?
Listing Views
First, let us have a look at the number of listing views I received over the same period – basically the month of October, 2025.

As you can see, the number of people clicking on, and seeing my actual listings, grew along with impressions. Obviously, not in the same volumes, but they grew a great deal.
And not just from within eBay, but externally as well – mostly likely search engines showing my listings in some search results and people clicking through to eBay.
Okay, so did all this growth equal more sales?
Quantity Sold
In a word, yes.

It is much patchier than the last two graphs, but as you can see, the number of items sold definitely increases towards the end of the month.
In fact, week 5 of me selling on eBay was my best week yet.
The Conclusion
In my mind, this proves what a lot of re-sellers say, and that is that being active on eBay every day, gets you more sales.
Over to You
Have you experienced this as well? How many items do you post each day or week? Let me know in the comments below.
