I just scored big today for a quick, local op shop haul.
Rise of the Guardians, The Frozen Ground, Dune, Serenity, Band of Brothers collector’s tin (sealed), and Final Destination 3.
All of the above titles were just AU$6 for the lot!
I will probably sell Band of Brothers (2001) – I know it is good, but modern war movies and shows just aren’t my thing.
Dune (1984) I just bought, so I will keep the better copy and sell the other.
I loved the first two Final Destination films, and kind of what they whole set, so grabbing the 3rd in the franchise for 50 cents seemed reasonable.
Serenity (2005) I didn’t have yet, so that goes straight into my collection.
The Frozen Ground (2013) I have never heard of but took a chance – sometimes you just need to gamble on a film. And if I really don’t like it, then I sell it.
Rise of the Guardians (2012) I grabbed for the kids.
I will be giving my thoughts on these films on this site once I watch or re-watch them.
